Carli van Maurik

CARLI VAN MAURIK IS AN ASSOCIATE in Reed Pope's Business Law department and leads the firm's corporate services department. Carli practices in all areas of corporate and commercial law and specializes in corporate governance, maintenance and compliance. She also has experience in the areas of commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, leasing, financing, and securities law.

Carli completed her articles at a full-service boutique firm in Bedford, Nova Scotia, before joining Reed Pope that same year.

In 1999, she immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands. She is fluent in English and Dutch and has a good command of German. Carli is an avid salsa dancer, equestrian, and aquarist.

Carli has been a long-serving volunteer for multiple causes throughout her career. Currently she volunteers with the Access Pro Bono Society of BC by providing free legal services to low income individuals and with the Victoria Women's Transition House by assisting with meal preparations.
