Mark Rappaport
MARK RAPPAPORT IS AN ASSOCIATE in Reed Pope's Business Law and Land Development departments. His practice ranges from advising on the purchase and sale of real estate and businesses to advising on commercial leasing, real estate finance and real estate development (including preparing disclosure statements and development documents for complex resort offerings, strata projects and subdivisions) to advising on entity formation and not for profit organizations. Mark also advises clients on regulatory compliance issues relating to the Real Estate Development Marketing Act, the Strata Property Act, the Business Corporations Act, the Land Title Act and the Environmental Management Act.
Mark previously worked at one of Canada's leading business law firms, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, energy, and real estate acquisitions and finance.
Mark is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, boating and fishing. Mark worked as a fishing guide and naturalist for several years before entering the practice of law.
