Sarah Fryling

Articled Student

Sarah joined the firm as an articled student after completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria in August 2025. She brings a balanced background in law, business, and human resource management, and is excited to continue building her career in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Before law school, Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2021 and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Louisiana State University in 2006. She worked as a paralegal in both the U.S. and Canada, where she developed a strong interest in real estate law, corporate transactions, and wills and estates. Her time as a business owner gave her a practical perspective on how legal issues intersect with everyday business and life decisions.

Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys camping on BC’s beautiful islands, cooking enough food to feed a small country (or two teenagers), and biking Victoria’s incredible trail network. She’s also an enthusiastic supporter of the city’s local fairs, markets, and performance arts.
